Accessories
Operation
The mains or battery-operated T-107 test set developed by Autophon allows maintenance and alignment to be carried out on the Autophon SE-208 / SE-209 and SE-411 family radios thanks to the built-in RF oscillator, which covers the frequency range 23 - 35 MHz.
In addition to the RR oscillator, which can be modulated at 1000 Hz, it also includes a crystal-controlled oscillator active on the IF of 1.65 MHz and a tube voltmeter and ohmmeter for measuring the anode and heater voltages, among other things.
For measurements, the tester is connected to the radio with the corresponding cables; the radio can be controlled from the test set via the special cable without connecting a headset.
The instrument can be used to measure DC voltages of 3 V, 30 V, 300 V, 600 V and AC voltages of 3 V and 30 V. Resistance measurements are possible with three ranges. The 12-position measuring switch can be used to carry out the same fault diagnostic test measurements in positions 1 - 8 as with the EJ83 diagnostic instrument; the test set is connected to the measuring socket on the transceiver or the SG94 power supply.
All functions and test procedures are described in the regulations.
Technical principle
Tube configuration
V1 (1V6, IF oscillator); V2 (1AD4, AF oscillator 1000 Hz); V3 (1V6, 2nd stage IF oscillator); V4 (1AD4, RF oscillator).
Development
The T-107 was developed for maintenance and alignment work on the SE-208/SE-209 and SE-411 radios from Autophon. The T-105 is almost identical apart from the RF oscillator frequency range 35 - 54 MHz.
