SE-300: Mobile Lightweight Radio station 40
Mobile Lightweight Radio station 40, FL40; produced by Zellweger, Uster.
Technical Data
-
- Transmitter S-300
- Frequency Range: 190 - 715 kHz; 1,5 - 4,5 MHz
Here you find an overview over the complete station equipment of the SE-300:
Transmitter FL 40 S / S-300
- Frequency Range: 190 - 240 / 240-400 / 400-715 kHz as well as 1,5-2,3 / 2,3-3,3 and 3,3-4,5 MHz
- Analog dial, dial accuracy 1‰
- Power supply: The transmitter is powered by a petrol or by an electric motor coupled to a three phase generator, which provided the necessary 50 V 150 Hz voltage. A rectifier unid was used to generate the plate voltages of 1250 and 300 V for the transmitter.
Receiver FL 40 / E-601
- Frequency range: 100 kHz - 60 MHz in ten ranges, Plugin coil sets for bandswitching, on the coil sets a printed coarse frequency dial.
- Power supply: 120 V plate voltage and 6 V valve heaters from the rectifier oder inverter; as an alternative the set can be powered from a separate inverter for the E41
Rectifier FL 40 GLR
- Power supply: The rectifier is powered from the generator with a three phase voltage of 50 V, 150 Hz.
- Connection to transmitter („zum Sender“): Plate voltage 1250 V for the transmitter output stage
- Connection to transmitter („zum Sender“): Plate and auxiliary voltage 300 V, auxiliary voltage 50 V, 150 Hz
- Connection to receiver („zum Empfänger“): Receiver plate voltage 120 V, receiver heaters voltage 6 V
- Connection to inverter or accumulator 6 V („zum Wechselrichter 6 V oder Akkumulator 6V“): to power the inverter with 6 V or for charging the acccumulators.
Inverter FL 40 WR
- to be used to power the receiver when the generator is not working, in stations No. 1 - 20 for traffic and for remote operation of the receiver.
- Connection from the rectifier („vom Gleichrichter“): Voltages and and sidetone
- Connection to the accumulator („zum Akkumulator“): 6 V, when the rectifier is working to charge the accumulators, when the rectifier is turned off to power the receiver from the accumulators.
- Connection to the receiver („zum Empfänger“): Plate voltage 120 V and heaters voltage 6 V to power the receiver.
Power Supply E41
- to power the receiver when it's used independently from the transmitter, if mains current is available
- Connection to the rectifier („vom Gleichrichter“): Voltages and sidetone
- Connection from the rectivier („v. Gleichrichter“)
Generator FL 40
- The generator provides the necessary Three phase voltage 50 V, 150 Hz to power the Mobile Light Radio Station.
- The generator can be driven from a petro or electric motor, according to the available power source, the petrol or electric power is connected to the generator. The electric motor can be powered from mains 220 V, from three phase mains 3 x 220-350 V or from three phase mains 3 x 380 - 500 V.
- the three phase voltage 50 V 150 Hz from the generator is fed to the rectifier via the connector „zum Gleichrichter“ and to the accumulator charging unit via the connctor „zum Ladegerät“.
Accumulator Charger
- The accumulator charger is powered with three phase voltage 50 V 150 Hz from the FL40 station generator.
- It can be used to charge the stations 6V accumulators with different charging currents.
- On two instruments, the charging voltage and the current is displayed.
- There is a compartment with a bottle of destilled water and an areometer to control the concentration of the accumulator lye.
Antenna material
- in the antenna material chest, antenna wires and counterpoise wires are stored.
Accessories:
- one chest Mastmaterial 1 (Mast material 1)
- one chest Mastmaterial 2 (Mast material 2)
- two bags with Mast segments
- one chest with Office supplies
- two chests with Lighting equipment with torches, candle and davy lamps
- one chest Tools and Spares
- two chests Fuel
- one chest Trailer Spares
- one chest with Cables
- two NiFe Accumulators 6 V;
- Tent equipment with the protection tent for the station
