TmS-430
Telematics Set TmS-430; manufactured by RUAG Bern.
Following the liquidation of the Stg-100 teleprinter, a replacement for the teleprinter needed to be used with the SE-430 radio systems. This was realised in the form of a commercially available notebook computer and a dot matrix printer. The equipment installed in a NEMP-protected fibreglass transport case was given the name Telematics Set 430.

System material
The telematics set 430 consists of a NEMP - protected large fibreglass case with:
- a notebook computer Toshiba 110CS, Pentium 100 MHz, VGA screen 11.3 inches
- a dot matrix printer Epson LX 300
- two boot discs with DOS-based software.
The notebook (which is no longer up to date) is equipped with a hard disc, but it is intended to be started from a boot disc. If necessary, any other commercially available IBM-compatible computer can be used.
The messages to be transmitted can be stored directly on the system notebook computer, but usually a floppy disc is used to transfer the text message from the command post to the transmission office.

As a replacement for the teleprinters, RUAG put together a software solution for storing and recording messages to be transmitted by radio.
