Variants

The metal/glass Arcturus 6H6 tube type is unusual in that it employs a glass disc instead of a conventional "pinch" for introducing the lead-in wires into the glass bulb. The disc has the wires in a circular formation. Pages 99 and 100, Stokes" 70 Years of Radio Tubes and Valves"

 Wie kommt es denn zu dem Zusatz "UHF" bei Typ? In den sehr vielen Schaltbildern, die ich für USA Geräte hochgeladen habe wird die 6H6 häufig als AM-Demodulator (und  evtl. zur Regelspannungs-erzeugung) verwendet und kommt in einigen der Geräte vor 1945 auch als FM-Diskriminator zum Einsatz. Der damalige US FM-Bereich um 50 MHz herum mit Zwischenfrequenzen um 5 MHz herum rechtfertigt doch nicht die Kennzeichnung mit Ultra High Frequency - UHF - oder?

Hallo Herr Linß,

hierbei kann es sich nur um einen Vertipper handeln. Grundsätzlich führen wir für Signaldioden als Anwendung „Detektor“, was ich sogleich geändert habe.
